We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Associate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This is for an Architectural practice , The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of interior design concepts for prestigious projects across various sectors, including commercial, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments. This role also involves contributing to the growth and development of the Interior Design department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Lead the development and execution of innovative and high-quality interior design concepts that meet client objectives and project requirements.
- Department Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and grow the Interior Design department, including setting standards, processes, and team structure.
- Design Presentations: Create compelling and visually engaging design presentations, incorporating mood boards, material palettes, 3D visualizations, and other relevant presentation materials.
- Design Documentation: Oversee the preparation of comprehensive design documentation, including space planning, FF&E specifications, construction drawings, and other technical documents.
- Project Coordination: Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained and projects are delivered successfully.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and innovative team culture.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge design solutions.
- Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new project opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in interior design, with at least 5 years in the UAE working with blue-chip developers.
- A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing high-end projects across various sectors (commercial, hospitality, residential, mixed-use).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
