They are known for their innovative and creative approach to architecture, pushing the boundaries of design across a diverse portfolio of projects including high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
About the Role:
The Lead Concept Architect will play a crucial role in shaping the design vision for a wide range of exciting projects. This position requires a highly creative and experienced individual with a strong understanding of architectural theory and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptual design phase for a variety of projects, translating client briefs and project goals into inspiring and innovative design concepts.
- Conduct in-depth research on project requirements, site analysis, and relevant design trends.
- Develop and present compelling design narratives and presentations to clients, utilizing a variety of mediums including sketches, 3D models, and physical models.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and interior designers, to ensure the seamless integration of design ideas.
- Explore and develop innovative design strategies, considering factors such as sustainability, technology, and user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior architects in developing their design skills and understanding of architectural principles.
- Stay abreast of current architectural trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and the growth of the studio's design portfolio.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on high-end residential and hospitality projects.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful design concepts for complex projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural theory, history, and contemporary design movements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
- Excellent portfolio demonstrating a strong design aesthetic and innovative approach.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in working on international projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building certifications.
- Experience in BIM and parametric design.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (desirable).
