My client a leading international property developer requires a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of Architecture to join their dynamic team in Dubai.
This role will be instrumental in overseeing the successful delivery of high-end residential and hotel projects across the region. They will lead a team of talented architects in house to manage and collaborate closely with external consultants to ensure the highest quality design and construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of 10 architects, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee all aspects of architectural design and documentation for high-end residential and hotel projects.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, building codes, and client requirements.
- Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and consultants.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients effectively and persuasively.
- Proactively address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design & Innovation:
- Develop innovative and inspiring architectural solutions that meet the unique demands of the Dubai market.
- Stay abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Explore and implement sustainable design strategies to minimize environmental impact.
- Consultants Management:
- Coordinate and manage the work of external consultants, including structural, MEP, and landscape architects.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between internal and external teams.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the design and construction process.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular design reviews and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Identify and address any potential design or construction issues proactively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of architects.
- Strong understanding of high-end residential and hotel design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai.
- Experience in working on projects in the Middle East region is highly preferred.
