Senior Technical Architect
About the Role:
My client a large international Architectural practice, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in DUBAI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of high-quality architectural projects. This role will involve trips to Manila, Philippines to assist with the team there
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Package Development: Oversee the development of design packages from Schematic Design (SD) through to Design Development (DD).
- Revit Proficiency:
- Lead the development and management of Revit models within a BIM 360 collaborative environment.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of Revit models and associated documentation.
- Multi-disciplinary Coordination:
- Demonstrate proven experience in coordinating with other disciplines (structural, MEP, etc.) across all project stages.
- Ensure seamless integration and clash resolution between disciplines.
- Code Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of Saudi building codes is a significant advantage.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor junior architects, providing guidance and support.
- Effectively communicate design intent and technical information to the team and clients.
- Client Interface:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Effectively communicate project progress and address client concerns.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in architectural design and delivery.
- Proven experience leading the development of design packages from SD to DD.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of UAE building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia).
- Knowledge of Saudi building codes and regulations.
- Experience with other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, BIM Collaborator).
